General Requirements

 

To be considered for admission into the Post Graduate degree programme, candidates should

  • Have five credit pass in not more than two sittings in any of the following examinations;
    • General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level Examination
    • West African School Certificate Examination (WASCE),
    • National Examination Council (NECO),
    • National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) or their equivalents
  • Meet the various departmental registration requirements
S/N Programme(s) Requirements Duration
1 PGD
  1. A candidate with at least 3rd Class Honours Bachelors Degree in the relevant field from an approved University.
  2. HND holders with a minimum of credit level pass from recognised institutions.
Full-time PGD shall run for a minimum of 2 semesters and a maximum of 4 semesters.
2 M.A/M.Eng./M.Sc
  1. Candidates with at least 2nd Class Honours (Lower Division) Bachelors’ Degree from a recognised University.
  2. Candidates with a PGD at credit level pass.
Minimum of 4 semesters and a maximum of 6 semesters.
3 Ph.D
  1. Candidates with at least a Bachelors (Hons) degree from a recognised University with a minimum of 2nd Class Honours (Lower Division) in the relevant discipline.
  2. Possess Masters degree with a CGPA of at least 3.50 on a 5.00 point scale.
Minimum of 6 semesters and a maximum of 10 semesters.
