PHILOSOPHY AND OBJECTIVES

Our philosophy is designed to acquaint students with broad based knowledge and training in pertinent areas of Agriculture Technology and then emphasize later on a specialty area in the final year when a project will be carried out.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

Our programme aims at training out or producing;

Competent graduates capable of independently undertaking sustainable livestock ventures and other fields.

Individuals that can function as high or middle level professional staff in various areas of the animal industry.

Communications that conveniently disseminate livestock or related technologies to actual or prospective farmers.

Professional manpower that imbibe and extend innovative farming practices to other farmers especially those in the rural communities.

Graduates that can undergo higher education or training in relevant  disciplines or even other related specialty of fields e.g. Medicine or Pharmacy etc.

Doctor in Philosophy (PhD) in Animal Science.
