Agricultural Science Education
Agricultural Science Education trains students to teach agricultural principles and practices. It combines agricultural knowledge with teaching skills, covering crop and animal production, soil science, and educational methods. Graduates become teachers, extension officers, or trainers, helping to advance agriculture through education.
Arts Education
Arts Education prepares students to teach subjects in the humanities, such as literature, languages, and cultural studies. The programme blends content knowledge with teaching methods, equipping graduates to inspire creativity and critical thinking in schools and educational institutions.
Counselling and Educational Psychology
Counselling and Educational Psychology focuses on understanding human behavior and providing guidance to support students’ learning and well-being. Students learn counseling techniques, psychological assessment, and how to help individuals cope with personal, social, and academic challenges. Graduates work in schools, counseling centers, and community services.
Educational Foundations
Educational Foundations provides the core principles and theories that shape teaching and learning. Students study philosophy, sociology, psychology, and history of education, gaining a deeper understanding of how education systems work and how to improve them. Graduates support educational planning, policy, and teaching.
Educational Management
Educational Management trains students to plan, organize, and lead educational institutions effectively. The programme covers leadership, policy, administration, and resource management, preparing graduates to become school heads, education administrators, and policymakers who ensure smooth running of schools and educational systems.
Health Education/Human Kinetics Education
Health Education / Human Kinetics Education focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles and physical fitness. Students learn about health promotion, disease prevention, sports science, and physical education methods. Graduates teach, coach, or work in health and wellness programs in schools and communities.
Library and Information Science
Library and Information Science trains students to manage information resources and library services. The programme covers cataloguing, digital libraries, information retrieval, and user services, preparing graduates to work as librarians, information officers, and knowledge managers in schools, research centres, and public institutions.
Science Education
Science Education trains students to teach science subjects effectively. It blends scientific knowledge with practical teaching methods, preparing graduates to educate future scientists and promote scientific understanding in schools and communities.
Social Science Education
Social Science Education equips students to teach subjects like government, economics, geography, and sociology. The programme combines social science knowledge with teaching skills, preparing graduates to help students understand society and become responsible citizens.
Vocational and Technical Education
Vocational and Technical Education trains students to teach practical skills and trades. The programme combines technical know-how with instructional methods, preparing graduates to produce skilled manpower for industries, technical schools, and entrepreneurship development.
