Agricultural Economics

Agricultural Economics combines the principles of economics with agriculture to address issues related to food production, resource management, and rural development. The program trains students to analyze agricultural policies, market trends, and farm management strategies. Graduates are equipped to work in agribusiness, research, policy planning, rural development, and financial institutions supporting the agricultural sector.

Animal Science

Animal Science focuses on the study of livestock production, animal nutrition, breeding, health, and management. The program equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to improve animal productivity and welfare. Graduates are prepared for careers in livestock farming, veterinary support, animal feed production, research, and agricultural extension services.

Crop and Soil Science

Crop and Soil Science is a vital field that focuses on the science and management of crops and soils to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability. The program teaches students about soil fertility, crop production techniques, pest management, and environmental conservation. Graduates are equipped for careers in farming, agricultural research, agrochemical industries, soil management, and extension services.

Fisheries is the study of aquatic life, fish farming (aquaculture), fishery management, and aquatic ecosystem conservation.
