A delegation from the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), led by Mrs Doris Opuwari, visited Niger Delta University on Tuesday, 11 August 2026, to inspect and follow up on the operation of the University’s e-Library.
The visit was aimed at assessing the current state and utilization of the facility and reviewing the progress of the e-Library project since its commissioning on April 19, 2024.
The mega e-Library project was funded and donated to the University through a joint collaboration involving NNPC Limited, Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCo), the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), and their co-venture partners.
Other members of the delegation included Dr. Mpigi Gbenekanu, Senior Supervisor, Entrepreneurship Training, Nigerian Content Academy; Udogwu Julian; Okotie-Eboh Jennifer; Avonta Oti; Ajayi Petronilla; Salamatu Ibrahim; Engr. Dokubo Obongo; and Franca Osere.
The visit underscores the commitment of the NCDMB and its partners to monitoring the sustainability and effective utilisation of projects provided to support educational development and enhance learning resources at Niger Delta University.
