Niger Delta University (NDU) Pre-Degree / JUPEB Programme
The Niger Delta University (NDU) offers a Pre-Degree and JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board) Programme
under the School of Pre-Degree and Basic Studies. The programme prepares students for direct entry admission into 200-level
degree programmes in NDU and other affiliated universities across Nigeria.
Programme Overview
• The programme runs for one academic session (two semesters).
• It is non-residential.
• It leads to the award of the JUPEB Certificate, which qualifies candidates for 200-level direct entry admission.
• The programme provides a solid foundation for university education, emphasizing academic discipline and maturity.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant O-Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics,
obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB. Candidates must also satisfy departmental/faculty
requirements for their desired degree programmes.
