Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice
Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice focus on patient-centered care and the safe, effective use of medicines. Students learn how to counsel patients, manage drug therapy, and work with healthcare teams to improve health outcomes. Graduates are prepared to serve in hospitals, community pharmacies, and public health settings.
Pharmacology and Toxicology
Pharmacology and Toxicology study how drugs and chemicals affect the body. Students learn about drug actions, side effects, safety, and the treatment of poisonings. This knowledge prepares graduates for careers in research, drug development, regulatory agencies, and healthcare.
Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Pharmaceutical Chemistry focuses on the design, synthesis, and analysis of drugs. Students learn how chemicals interact with the body, how medicines are developed, and how to ensure drug quality and safety. Graduates are prepared for careers in drug research, quality control, and the pharmaceutical industry.
Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology
Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology focus on how microorganisms affect medicines and health. Students learn about sterilization, drug safety, vaccine development, and the use of biotechnology in producing new drugs and therapies. Graduates are equipped for careers in pharmaceutical manufacturing, quality control, and biomedical research.
Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology
Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology focus on the formulation, production, and testing of safe and effective medicines. Students learn how to design dosage forms like tablets, capsules, creams, and injections, and ensure their quality and stability. Graduates are prepared for roles in drug manufacturing, product development, and regulatory affairs.
Pharmacology and Herbal Medicine
Pharmacology and Herbal Medicine focus on how drugs and natural remedies affect the body. Students study drug actions, side effects, and interactions, alongside the scientific use of medicinal plants in treating diseases. Graduates are prepared for careers in pharmaceutical research, herbal product development, and healthcare consultancy.
