2010/ 2011 PUME SCREENING EXERCISE STAGE 2- SECOND (2ND) CANDIDATES AND FIRST (1ST) CHOICE CANDIDATES WHO MISSED THE STAGE 1 TEST This is to inform the general public that the second Post-UME Screening Exercise of the Niger Delta University for the 2010/2011 session will take places as indicated below:
1. ELIGIBILITY · Candidates who chose Niger Delta University as second choice and those who missed the first choice test; · Minimum UME score for all candidates is 180.
2. REGISTRATION Registration is online on our website at online.ndu.edu.ng starting from Monday, 19th of July 2010 and will end on Saturday, 31st of July, 2010.
The Registration Process is as Follows: i Go to any Diamond or Skye Bank branch in Nigeria along with your UTME Registration slip; ii Purchase and e-pin slip for Niger Delta University Post-UME screening for a Subsidized fee of N1, 000.00. The University cannot subsidize other charges Such as Bank charges; iii Go online and log onto online.ndu.edu.ng and click on ‘Apply for Post-UME Screening exercise’. Complete the online application for Post-UME screening; iv Scan your passport photograph and upload it onto the form. The passport photograph should be 200 x 200 pixels, with white background (Read notes under No.3);
v. Print out the generated Acknowledgment Letter. Your seat number for the screening exercise will be included on the letter. You must bring this along to the screening venue. Candidates are advised to make photocopies of this Acknowledgement Letter. Candidates without this Acknowledgement Letter will not be allowed to do the Post-UME exercise. i Notification for Post-UME exercise You will receive a notification through SMS via telephone and by e-mail indicating whether or not you are qualified to do the screening exercise. NOTE Your application will not be successful if: · Your UTME score is less than 180 · The appropriate e-pine was not used; · If you enter a state of origin different from the one indicated on your JAMB Registration Form; · If you chose a course different from the one indicated on your JAMB Registration Form.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. I. Passport Photograph- passport photograph should be taken NOT more than a week before the application. II. The passport photograph must have A WHITE BACKGROUND. III. The photograph should show both ears IV. The photograph should be 4.5 x 5.0cm in size V. The same passport will be used for registration on admission Use the same names as you used in your UTME. VI. Submit a valid e-mail address and phone number in your registration form. (Niger Delta University will not be held responsible if you use an invalid e-mail and Telephone number)
SCHEDULE OF SCREENING EXERCISE
The following Faculties will take their screening exercise as follows: DAY 1 – Candidates for Agriculture, Arts, Basic Medical Science (Med. Lab. Sci and Medicine), Education, Law, Nursing, Pharmacy, Sciences and Social Sciences; Date: Wednesday, August 4, 2010 Time: Screening Period 7am-8:30am Venue: Niger Delta University, Glory land Campus, Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State.
DAY 2 – Candidates for Engineering and Management Sciences. Date: Thursday, August 5, 2010 Time: Screening Period 7am-8:30am Venue: Niger Delta University, Glory land Campus, Wilberforce Island, Bayelsa State.
NOTICE OF SPECIFIC HALLS OF SCREENING WILL BE PLACED AT THE UNIVERSITY GATE ON THE DATE OF SCREENING. PLEASE CHECK FOR YOUR HALL USING YOUR SIT NUMBER.
DATE, TIME AND VENUE OF SCREENING EXERCISE IS ALSO POSTED ONLINE ON OUR WEBSITE online.ndu.edu.ng The Screening process is time consuming, given the fact that it involves Biometric techniques such as finger printing, late comers will not be screened. Those resident outside Yenagoa/ Wilberforce Island are advised to come a day earlier. The University is not responsible for accommodating any candidate.
CAUTION A. BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS FOR THE SCREENING · HB pencils and erasers. No biros or pens will be allowed. · Acknowledgement Letter
B. DO NOT BRING THE FOLLOWING ITEMS INTO THE SCREENING HALL
· Mathematical tables · Calculators · GSM phones (will be confiscated. The Niger Delta University will nto be Liable)
5. DISQUALIFICATION CANDIDATES WHO MAKE FALSE DECLARATION OF UTME SCORES AND ORDINARY LEVEL GRADES (SSCE, GCE, NECO AND ITS EQUIVALENT), AS WELL AS STATE OF ORIGIN SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION 6. MODE OF DRESSING DURING SCREENING DECENT DRESSING
NOTE: THIS IS A FRESH EXERCISE; ANY PIN OBTAINED IN THE IST STAGE IS INVALID.
