Welcome to the Website of Niger Delta University, the State University of Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Located in Wilberforce Island, an island of great historic significance, it was established through a Law of 2000; although academic activities commenced in the 2001/2002 session.
The logo of the University reflects the riverine and petroleum-rich milieux of the State, while its motto of Creativity, Excellence, Service, summarizes the Vision and Mission of the institution.
